Don't forget some other posters around here that said Heyward would not help our offense
Point for point it is. Which is why say a player with an OBP of 400 and a slg of 400 is more valuable then someone with a 350 OBP and a 450 SLG. Which is why many have left OPS in the dust for new and better stats.
I think this most recent post splurge shows that there would have been a massive "I told you so" if this rebuild was not going well. So next time when there are those that say they are tired of the "posibraves" pumping their chests just know that the "others" would have done the same.

Personally, I reject all the positive Braves fan vs negative Braves fan categories. It's mostly just spin IMO with each side claiming "I told you so" having at best been right and wrong on things. I guess I also find it a dishonest approach.

If everyone wasn't such a d-bag during the offseason and actually gave the rebuild a chance there would not be the animosity that currently exists on this board.

I cannot say I agree. I figure with all forums if it wasn't one thing it would be another we'd be splitting sides over. Plus both sides have made good points about whether or not we needed to rebuild. And just because one way works doesn't mean another couldn't have worked too.
I don't disagree with anything that you are saying. If the conversation were more civil over the offseason it would be more civil now. But, on the internet you can never expect that.

I cannot speak on that as I don't recall everything. I am sure thethe gets it more than most for various reasons including how much he posts and shares his opinions. I mean that alone will make anyone a target more often that someone that doesn't post a lot.

I don't remember you telling me any of that. Joh Hart acquired Maybin as a salary dump and he sat the bench the first month
You told me that Heyward's offense was a joke and that Markakis was awesome - even though the prior was better than the latter. I do remember you telling me so on that one
You will tell us so no matter what the organization does. When it was Evan Gattis - you were all on his nuts. Now you're all on the nuts of the speed players. Basically - what John Hart says - you agree with.

I said that we need to trust the Braves organization since its back to where it was when we were accumulating talent in droves. I trust the scouts and the guys in the big chairs making decisions. I still like Gattis but it was clear he was becoming a player without a position. If we were in the AL I would have beenfurious that he was traded.

Right, I guess it's just I expect that so maybe it doesn't bother me as much. Plus some personalities just don't go well together so there's bound to be fireworks. I know there are posters on here that cannot stand me and I cannot stand them. I just try to ignore them mostly. Though thankfully there isn't really many here that annoy me too much and there's even more here I get along with good. I've even been getting along better with Heyward lately and that scares me.

I try to be extremely civil and courteous at all times. It bothers me when I don't get the same in return. I shouldn't let it bother me.

Well, we're all human and have our bad days and good days that way. I think sometimes people on here are not as civil because they had a bad day and so they get annoyed over things not really worth it. In fact I think we've all probably done that, I know I have. Plus on the internet there are all types and some of them are headcases that we'd not go near outside of the internet. Hopefully not too many of them are Braves fans.
