Francisco needs a triple for the cycle...that could probably only happen if he hits a homer but stops at third.

Well, wait a minute. If he misses home plate on a dinger, they appeal, he's called out, doesn't he get credit for a triple?

So that could happen.

Also a collision that leaves both the RF and CF stunned for 25-30 seconds.

He already had a triple actually. He needed a double (didn't get it).

Talk among #Nationals is that Zimmerman will be out 6-8 weeks. Team could add 2B (with Rendon at 3B), but Rizzo long supportive of Espinosa.
 
Nate McLouth is batting .174 for the Nats and still getting playing time. Keeps up the good work.
 
Looks like Prado will be a bench player. Makes sense. He should do well in that role.
 
not sure igf this is right thread but Giants DFA Uggla.

I like the Giants approach, they want to win NOW and if you don't perform, so long.
