Around Baseball

Um, how so? They have like 4-5 starters on the DL right now. Their rotation is being held together with duct tape. Their hitting is doing ok. Not great, but ok.

Thats my point.

They have options coming back eventually.

I could see them going to get a LFer maybe but they are pretty close to the braves in terms of offense. They have really no place to upgrade and even the pitchers on the DL most are not great.

Darvish

Holland

Garza

Harrison

Is a great 1-4.

watching the dbacks game.. they showed a stat of NL relievers with the lowest ERA since may 22... avilan was at the top with a 0.00 ERA...:Bunchie1:

In germany we don't know much about baseball! Nobody even notice this error, because they don't know if this number is realistic or not.

Very funny article from a german TV guide!

It says:

"Atlanta's 2nd baseman Dan Uggla is the best player on his postion in all baseball with over 2.220 homeruns"

I like to have a player on the team with 2 HRs every game!

is he a FA after this season or what return would the cubs get?

He still has another year at $18 mil, so I doubt the Cubs get anything significant in return for him - they've been trying to deal him for the past couple of years now

Can't believe Baltimore traded Delmonico for KRod, wow.

That's not good for us on the Crain front.

Does that say that the Braves last won the World Series in 1997?

I can understand trading him for a closer or a young setup guy that you'll have around for 3+ years but for KRod? Shocking

Yeah, if thats what a relief option is going to cost, Im not to excited about making a trade.

No!
The last game in may was suspended because of a storm. The last time the teams had a resumption of a game was 1986 (Mets) and 1997 (Braves). Atlanta's Dan Uggla eventually decided the game to a 7:5 victory!

I can't say whether these infos are right or not.

If Cruz gets suspended, they may very well go for an OF bat

According to MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan, the Rangers are eyeing White Sox outfielder Alex Rios.

Actually, Sullivan writes that the Rangers and White Sox are "actively talking" about a trade
