Around Baseball

Gonzalez the guy they signed will probably be in their rotation next year.

Lee
Hamels
Gonzalez
Kendrick
Pettibone

Is pretty solid.

And that's also provided Lee and Hamels both make like 34 starts, which will become increasingly unlikely as time goes by.

Lee is the epitome of reliability.

So far. But he's 34, 35 in a month. His mechanics are great, but it's still very possible he gets hurt or looses it a bit soon. Even if he's great, every other pitcher has to surpass expectations for them to compete, IMO.

MLB Network wants the Nats to be in contention so badly. They win three games against the Mets, and now they're "back in this thing."

Thought I would share this for the Juan lovers

Juan Francisco is worse at first than little leaguers playing there...cant catch a ball...twice..

If Juan Francisco is the future for #Brewers at 1B it's difficult to like their future there.
