This is the attitude that ruined Scout (and terrible admins, but whatever). Just put them on ignore if you don't like them and move on. That's what people are going to do to you.

Or just ignore the post. I enjoy most content so I don’t want to miss something interesting. But when a fight breaks out or clv posts a book or someone trolls cheff or others call HH trades stupid. Then I just ignore that post and move on.

Hate to have to state the obvious, but you seem to be the ONLY poster pitching a temper tantrum - and I'm relatively confident you'll be laughed at forever here if you refer to me as "one of his toadies".

Not sure what happened to the ignore button - maybe it could be resurrected - but the incessant whining last night was beyond ridiculous.

You're missing the point. Do what you gotta do. But if you choose to ignore Enscheff and his toadies sooner or later it's going to be you. You can either grin and take it, or fight back.

Look, I realize that people don't want to have to see any of this or deal with it. In theory, it's not you fight. In reality, it is your fight whether you realize it or not. Look up appeasement and how well it has historically worked.

Enscheff has been sent to time-out countless times and he always comes back. The hope is maybe he'll change, become a civilized poster whose admittedly good points far outweigh the bad. But it never happens. He returns to the same evil little turd he's always been. Newsflash: It is who he is. He can't change even if he wanted to, which he doesn't.

There are a lot of others on this board who have had enough. Most just go away and Enscheff just turns to bully others. His toadies probably aren't cut from the same cloth, but believe that it's better to toady than be a victim.

I have no intent of ruining this board. I'm trying to be the adult here and point out that to fix the problem you have to FIX the problem not continue to enable it. Do I expect this to work? Of course not. I expect attitudes just like yours "let it go away and it will, at least for a while" because that is the easy answer.

I won't do that. I hate bullies and won't stand by to be bullied, under any circumstances. If there was a more direct way to address it, I would do that. But in the cyber world where bullies get to hide behind their monitors, this is where it leads.

Says the guy who gets an Enscheff wedgie virtually every day and a toiled swirlie once a week. Look, if you are ok taking it from him, good for you. But, not me. Not ever.

I've done that many times already. It hasn't worked and won't work. It's just a signal that what he does is just fine and there are no repercussions.

He is who he is. He's not going to change. He doesn't want to change. Bullying and being a general A-hole is a way of life for him.

Ignoring it just allows it to continue and rot the experience of the board.

I could just walk away from the board and probably will. Or I'll get perma-banned because enough people will go the appease Enscheff route once again, even though it's never worked before, and has no prospects to work now. But I'm going to continue to have my say for as long as I'm interested or allowed by the owner/mods.

This board is owned by someone who can run it anyway he wants. So if you have an issue with the way this board is run, why not contact the owner privately, and spare us all?

I actually couldn't stand Ensheff at first and thought he should be banned. But over time you realize he's part of the family. If you post something stupid, he's going to call you on it. That's the way it is. Just learn your lesson and don't post something stupid!
 
And isn’t this beef with Cy? So confused. A good ol fashioned rage quit would be much more appropriate ... and frankly more fun

Mods, you've got a choice. Take out the trash permanently. Or perma-ban me. There is no cooling down/cooling off, "hey everybody just get along." I'm cool now. I just don't care and won't put up with it.

Face it. You've tried that and it doesn't work. What you've done is essentially enabled a bully and his toadies to ruin the experience for what I expect is a huge number of other posters. They can speak for themselves if they wish. They can choose my approach if they wish and run the bully and his toadies off by not enabling them and not standing for their actions. Or they can sit on their hands and grin when good 'ol Enscheff comes along for their lunch money. That's up to them.

For me, perma-ban me. That's cool. It's your board. Do as you wish. But at least everyone else will know where they stand.
