Seems to me he was suggesting 2019 was rough due to recovering from that hip surgery. Sort of like when a player comes back from wrist surgery it takes a year to get back to full strength.

No idea if that’s true or not though.
 
Braves up 5 games on Phillies and 7 games on Mets with 39 games to go. If we go 19-20, Phillies would have to go 24-15 to tie it. If the braves go 20-19, Phillies would have to go 25-14. Just playing .500ish is gonna put a ton of pressure on them.

Yeah. Phillies are roughly a .500 team talent team anyways. Going to be hard for them unless the Braves fall apart.
 
Never believed the Phillies were for real.

We still have by far the most talented 40 man roster in the division.
 
At least the wild card races should be interesting. Reds and Padres in a battle while the Yankees, Red Sox, and Athletics are in the mix in the AL. Mariners and Blue Jays on the outside, but within striking distance.
