Around The Majors 2019

And NWO ripped off storylines from smaller circuits. WWF just made its own, and did it better.

Wut. In no way was peak DX anywhere near better than peak nWo. The best iteration of DX was arguably when it was just HBK-Haitch-Chyna. nWo changed the business forever.

WCW was winning until they started ****ing up. That's the problem when the wrestlers start to run the show. I wouldn't necessarily say WWF did it better. They just had a better leader in McMahon. WCW very easily should have won the Monday night wars imo.

I wasn’t talking specifically about DX. I was talking about the Attitude Era in general.

Mets fans are acting like Alonso is the best hitter in the game. His line is .385/.429/.923 with 5 HRs.

However, his BABIP is a laughably unsustainable .500, his HR/FB is also laughably unsustainable at 41.7%, his BB % is just 7.1%, and his K% is 33.3%.

It's early but his peripherals show he might be the luckiest player in the game so far.

The Attitude Era was the GOAT. The Monday Night Wars ratings attest to this.

Got to agree. WCW was awesome during its heyday as well, but they kept regurgitating the same storyline. WWF took it and did it better with DX. WCW had a deeper group of talent back then, but WWF ended up with better star power with Austin and the Rock. There was literally nothing better in the history of wrestling than the Rock vs. Austin storylines.

Yes those look like numbers that will crash his very next series

So far it looks like Aaron Nola might struggle a little more than last year. Pitching well just might regress some.

their pitching regressed a lot down the stretch. and as i've pointed out a bunch, no one really got hurt last year. their staff was unusually healthy.

enscheff said a while ago that nola may have had a career year last year. however you wouldn't expect him to be this bad. so it's either a funk or an injury.

If Nola has a bad year, total game changer. No one on their staff scares me besides nola, and it's razor thin

Good to see the Braves aren't the only team with dumb fans.

The best part about this season is the Braves are playing well without anyone doing anything too crazy unsustainable other than some inflated BABIP numbers for Ozzie and Swanson. Couple that with the horrid luck Acuna and JD (more accurately a lack of FBs) have had early, and it's easy to understand the Braves are legit.

Swanson Babip is .292
