Around The Majors 2019

All batters vs pitchers are small samples, some smaller than others. It just means he is the only one to have success vs Ryu so far. Those that take it to mean more lack common sense. I never suggested otherwise, but I expected such responses from those on here that have nothing better to do.

LOL...someone help me understand the logic sequence here...

Statement 1: Ryu has been better vs RHP than LHP (clearly suggesting the Braves should use more LHH)
Statement 2: True but Duvall has the best numbers against him (clearly saying that his past success means he is likely to do well)
Statement 3: Duvall's 8 PAs isn't enough of a sample size to predict anything (standard understanding of sample size)
Statement 4: I never said it was predictive, only that it happened (.....umm....)
Statement 5: Anyone who disagrees has too much time on their hands, but I am super busy even though I am part of this discussion (....dafuq?)

What am I missing? Why even bother bringing up Duvall's numbers vs Ryu if not to imply they were predictive of his success tonight?

Our old friend Ian Krohl has been suspended 50 games for a second positive test of a banned substance....he was with the Twins AAA team (Rochester)
Krol is a guy with enough talent to be a fixture in someone’s bullpen. It’s a shame he never quite put it together. His 2016 season with us was very impressive.

From what I read, it was a substance of abuse, not a PED. I know upstate New York’s not an easy place to live ...

Not in fWAR. And Alonso is going to set the NL rookie HR record and has a chance at the overall rookie HR record. It's his award.

Yeah, Alsonso would have to **** the bed the last month and Soroka would have to finish with an ERA as close to 2.00 as possible.

Interesting that, after the Braves take two of three from the Dodgers, ESPN bumps them to the top spot in its Power Rankings—and drops the Braves from seventh to eighth.

Folks sure do let themselves get all worked up over the tiniest things.

Broken fire extinguishers. A young guy getting benched. Power rankings. Holy hell, who cares?

Yea, I just got eighty-sixed from another Cracker Barrel because of the scene I made while posting that.
