The motive is that he’s sexually attracted to 13-year old children. Not hard to understand.

What is hard to understand is the complete lack of a conscience it would require to take advantage of a child like that.
 
Sounds like in that fight he lost he attacked his teammate too, check out the details and Crick is right in what he says at the end: "Pirates closer Felipe Vazquez initiated the fight he and teammate Kyle Crick engaged in Monday, Nubyjas Wilborn of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. The altercation began when Crick declined to turn off music that was playing at his locker when Vazquez asked him to, according to Wilborn. Vazquez then threw the initial punch at Crick after challenging Crick to hit him first. Both players wound up suffering injuries – Crick had to undergo season-ending finger surgery, while Vazquez needed stitches on his nose – and incurring team-imposed fines. The Pirates docked Vazquez $10K and Crick $2,500, but Crick told Wilborn he’s filing a grievance because he was acting in self-defense. “If we were on the street, this would’ve been assault,” Crick said. “I got swung at twice before I swung back.”"

Good thing we didn't trade for him...

I'm generally against both the death penalty and torture, but would gladly make an exception for both for convicted pedophiles.
 
Bullet dodged for sure, but I have faith AA does his homework on the make-up side of things when looking at a player to acquire.
 
Away from the current talk in this topic, the Braves have added another catcher. 40 man spot was cleared by putting Culberson on 60 IL. Murphy is eligible for PS.

The Braves announced today that they have selected the contract of catcher John Ryan Murphy. A 40-man roster spot was cleared by placing injured utilityman Charlie Culberson on the 60-day injured list.
