I think he’s struggled with every promotion. Bringing him up out of position in a race should be interesting.

I liked Enders deal when it was signed...

Nah, he’s ready and can not do any worse than Ender. He has literally nothing left to prove in AAA.

Ender is a good player, but this will likely be his last year. Riley 3rd next year and you have to think one of Waters or Pache will be ready also.

yeah, no. sorry snit

I could honestly see Snit in AA office.

Snit: I think our lineup needs a shake up
AA: The numbers say we should do this
Snit: my gut thinks Acuna should lead off
AA: your gut?
Snit: he is really good there. Team is really good
AA thinking to himself: just let him do it and you finally might have a reason to reassign this stupid hillbilly
AA: go for it.
Snit: really good.
Chip and Joe: buckle up cause anything good will be because Acuna is hitting leadoff.

I’m excited to see where they put him in the lineup tonight. Been a huge Riley fan since he was drafted.

Short sighted move. Wait another 7-10 days and you all but eliminate potential super 2 status. Plus, why sign Duvall for $3MM to play in AAA when even if he hits well, which he has, you still won't bring him up? Further, Duvall's defense is better and he
could hit just as well or better than Riley, who understandably may need an adjustment period. He always has needed that in the past.

Exactly. I mean it's exciting seeing another top prospect getting his chance, but certainly Duvall makes way more sense at this point for all the reasons you mentioned.

I'm a Riley fan, but I would have gone with Duvall. I just find it difficult to believe that a guy who has played a grand total of 36 regular-season innings in the OF is ready to play there at the big league level. Happy to be wrong and he'll likely be better than Gattis was out there, but it's a stretch in expectations from my perspective.

How many had Camargo played before this year?
