The biggest thing I’m trying to figure out is this deal with Amazon Prime. Will we in the Braves territory be able to watch the games on Prime. That would make sense to do so. I for example, do have a Prime Video subscription, with a big reason being able to watch the Thursday night NFL games.
 
The only positive i can say about the Braves being locked into this crappy contract is at least they have revenue certainty, since the contract is being kept. Some of the other teams who had their contract voided don't have a guaranteed arrangement. And it appears many of those teams are cutting payroll or not willing to go up.
 
I’m going to be very interested to seeing what the details are of this agreement once the judge gives the okay on it. I feel confident in saying without Amazon Prime being involved, tomorrow could have been the beginning of the end for FanDuel Sports Network.

Includes streaming services. Gotta say, I did not see this coming. And Diamond/FanDuel are keeping six teams. This has got to be a result of the Amazon investment, because Diamond was tapped out. I wonder why Amazon didn't wait for Diamond to die and then make their own deal.. Maybe it's because piggybacking/propping up Diamond gives them the first six (plus several other non-baseball franchises), and puts them in a stronger posture to acquire streaming rights on the rest.
