Bally's just launched

DirecTV is being spun off from AT&T, with AT&T retaining 70% ownership. The newco is taking the various TV streaming services with it (Uverse, AT&T TV) and branding them all under the DirecTV name. No other changes.

Looks like they're going to combine packages? If so, someone has FINALLY come up with the perfect streaming service - have been trying to figure out whether it's actually worth it to subscibe to a second one for a couple months when the football games start so I can get the Red Zone Channel. Obviously can't switch until October without losing Bally's, but DirecTV has the NFL Network AND Red Zone Channel, so if we can get both of them, the MLB Network, and Bally's from one place they ought to see a significant bump in subscribers IMO.

(Started to text you and ask directly, but knew you'd see this at some point.)

I think for now it's just a rebrand of the existing services.

This is my understanding, at least in the short term. I wouldn't surprise me if that changes over the next several months, but I doubt it's near-term. That is, however, a guess.
