First, I'm not calling him anything. Sav called him a black guy.
Second, who ever said that he self-identified as a "black guy," thank you. If that is the case, fine. It is most certainly his choice.
Third, I'm not criticizing, I'm asking. It was a serious question and not one bred out of me being a closet racist or something.
Fourth, another serious question, why do some people not want to identify as being of mixed race (or use another term if you'd like)? Is there some shame to the idea still? Or do you think it is a measure of shame for the race they drop? Or mainly pride for the one they identify with?
Fifth, never even heard of the "one-drop rule."
Just seeking to better understand. Wish folks around here wouldn't automatically start a food fight.
