Bethancourt On The Way???

As someone not really on the Bethancourt band wagon I wonder how much value other teams place on him. They arent going to look at his stats, they are going to scout him and he has never looked better. I think the Rays will value him highly, just saying.....

The time is coming soon. For this to happen Wren essentially has to admit to signing one of the worst contracts of the decade much less in Braves history. If some other regime had signed BJ he would have been benched or DFA'ed long ago.

Which contract? Uggla, Lowe or Upton?

I don't really understand why we would need to bring Bethancourt up to do this. I don't think he would be much better offensively than Laird and we always have Doumit to be a third catcher if needed. Why can't they just sit BJ start Laird and put Gattis in left? Accomplishes the same thing and allows Bethancourt to get regular playing time in the minors and not sit on the bench for 3/4 games at a time.
