His aides who are with him in Delaware, are communicating to the rest of his aides who aren't physically near him in Delaware.
What a shocker.
That’s not what I meant
It’s usually announced in a press conference or in person.
Not via a letter posted to Twitter.
Biden's at home presumably with covid.
The convention is this week. Better to get the story out and ahead now.
Dems need to get huge youth turnout again. So posting it on social media first was by design for it to go viral faster and to reach that audience in mass.
I don't think they can run anyone but Kamala now without severe backlash. And I don't think any hot ticket names willing be willing to put their political futures at risk with 3.5 months till election. But they could decide to really go rogue with Kennedy. I don't think Trump is gonna pull any of these former Biden voters over. But I do honestly think Kennedy is gonna pull over 15% of the vote now, if he isn't the D nominee.

Yeah. It's too close to the election and there isn't anyone other than maybe Gavin Newsom with a national profile, who could come in this late in the game and make an impact.
Harris is also incumbent just like Biden, so it's a safer play. I don't think RFK will still as many votes from Harris as he would have Biden.
Pardon the snickering at this - but like it was gonna go viral if it was on tv or on Twitter.
Everyone’s gonna know. The speed doesn’t exactly matter here.
With stuff this big- presidents usually address the nation live or as a statement at least

I think the assumption is that Harris is far more liberal than Biden. And I don't many of the moderate Dems will get behind her. So I think they vote for Kennedy.
The worst thing for the Dems would be to have a mostly split vote at the convention.
people are really overestimating how much people would vote for RFK if it means Donald goes back to office.
Again the anti-Trump vote is just as prevalent and in play here as it was four years ago.
So who thinks Hunter still sells paintings for tens of thousands of dollars now?
