BIG if true: Thor + Diaz potentially for Anderson, Wright, and 2 prospects?

Remember when I said "Buckle Up"

Hopefully y'all listened.

You don’t know anything about anything.

The article says the Mets are interested in those 4 guys, not that the package consists of those 4 guys.

This is a buy low situation on Diaz, but Thor/Diaz is still a hugely expensive package.

Pache has to be off limits, so it has to be Waters plus a pitcher ready to step in immediately...probably Wright.

I swear.

Lol.

Are people hesitant to give up something called Kyle Wright and something else for Syndergaard and a year removed of a solid closer?

How's this for outside the box thinking that could make a shred of sense?

Mets are going to flip STROMAN, packaging him with Diaz and getting that king's ransom of Braves prospects without breaking up their precious rotation and perhaps adding Anderson -- who I think is their prime target.

If the braves wanted stroman, why not get him from Toronto?

I don’t think they flip Stroman. He is their guy. Local guy etc....

But I could see them flip Thor and Diaz for Anderson

Well don't know anything one way or another but a Jay fan told me shortly after AA's arrival not to fall in love with the idea of any one player being a Brave because AA didn't believe in untouchable players. So I could see Pache, Anderson, or even Riley being the centerpiece especially if my favorite player is extended.

I think AA is a completely different GM than he was in Toronto. His philosophy with the Braves is almost the complete opposite of what they were in Toronto. I think he grew a lot in LA and became a better GM. It would shock me if Pache or Waters were involved in a deal.
