Black Immigrants

No it isn’t. Because it’s not a real category. If you smush Nigerians and Somalians together based on their skin color being similar, you lose meaningful differences between their performance and you gain absolutely nothing.

Someone who purports to be an expert in data analysis should know this.
lol - race is not a real category with common traits

Who actually believes this.

Me.

And most people who spend more than 5 minutes thinking about the issue and come to the realization that there is more genetic variation within so-called racial groups than there is between them.

If Nigerians are high performing and Somalians are low performing, tell me what is gained by smushing them together under the banner of “black” rather than keeping them separate?

“Nigerians” meaning a small subset that are outliers. Great!

Doesn’t change the fact that race is a great barometer to use for overall strategy.

If the answer is DEI and government jobs, then why the big delta between “native blacks” and “2nd generation black immigrants”

NGOs that focus on immigration do what they can to ensure they have success stories to continue their “missions”. I Iove how everyone ignores the blatant subsidization of immigrants in this country.

They’ll get more grants for college and shuttle them into programs to get fake jobs so again the NGOs can show their donors how successful they are by posting stupid charts like these.

Maybe the answer is that the 2nd generation immigrant blacks are growing up in two parent households at substantially higher rates than native blacks.

I’d agree that’s a piece of the puzzle

Doesn’t change observable characteristics defined by race.

Any, ya know, evidence for that whole NGO theory?
Oh yeah - we surely have learned that NGOs are honest organizations with no motives outside of helping the world.

Just like the splc created fake bigotry to get more donations all these non profits engage in the same machinations.

But sure - you go ahead and ask for “proof” as if that was a smart response.

I’m sure you believe it’s a different question/issue solely for the fact it was a dumb question to ask. But if you want to keep believing this isn’t happening you’re free to go right ahead!

Your confidence in spewing absolute bullshit as obvious truth will never cease to amaze.
Yeah - NGOs are fantastic upstanding organizations that didn’t plunder tax dollars for pet projects to push political agendas.

I’m sure you thought the splc was upstanding as well.

Your insistence on turning a blind eye to the status quo is amazing.

Everything is fine!

You’re debating no one on the utility of NGO’s. That’s not the argument. Your argument was that NGO’s are the primary driver of a significant wage difference between 2nd generation immigrant black women and native born black women apparently by shuttling them into colleges on grants, then pushing them into fake DEI jobs to show off their success. What is the evidence for that particular claim? There are plenty of NGO’s assisting native black women too, so it’s a bold claim to make that they’re the driver of the delta in that chart. One would think you’d have some evidence to make it so confidently.

You don’t believe NGOs have a network of organizations they work with that place the people they are “helping”?

Is that your actual belief? That NGOs work in a vacuum with no network in the government and private enterprise?

Smh.

YES I believe NGO’s “have a network of organizations they work with that place the people they are “helping”

But there are plenty of NGO’s doing work to help both native born blacks and immigrants.

So, again, my question is what is your evidence that these NGO’s (which are helping both natives and immigrants) are the primary driver in the economic disparity shown in that chart, which you so confidently claimed.

I don't believe there is any evidence of the daughters of black immigrants being advantaged by NGOs. If there is any please share. Mere assertion is not a serious argument. Even here.

The paper that I've referenced on this issue point to other factors, such as the places that immigrants choose to live.

There is certainly no evidence of a whole system of subsidization of immigrants in this country. I agree with you guys!
