Blacks - A forgotten segment from Presidents

Hey, at least Trump is going to reach out to the CBC... so long as the black reporter he assumes must be friends with them can arrange a meeting.

That might have been the worst thing out of that awful press conference.

Borderline racist IMO. Sad.

What has the CBC ever done for common black folks?

Nothing

First, we can agree on. But if we make it harder to commit vote fraud then isn't it only natural that the vote total goes down? If it goes down more for Democrats then maybe that should tell you something.

I'm all in favor if making voter fraud harder to do, I'm just calling the voter ID laws what they are, aimed at minorities. We (the Repubs) want to win and we don't care what it takes). I'm sure if the Dems had a plan like that they wouldn't hesitate to use it. AA was absolutely right about the value of taking pride in things, like when his grandmother wen to the extra effort to get her ID. We need more people taking pride in what they do, starting with taking pride in being an American. That's the first step in actually turning thing around in this country.

Second, it's just easier to do nothing and call people racist.

Sad but true, but the Repubs might keep on until they go too far and actually cause my prediction about Yamamoto's famous post Pearl Harbor comment to come true. Won't they be whining then? Nobody ever took me up on that comment by the way.

How?

My 96 year old black grandmother (recently passed) got a ride to the DMV to obtain an ID. What is the excuse of a lazy, non working black 24 year old?

There is a meaningful discussion to be had about why it affects minorities at higher rates and what we can do as a nation to remedy that reality, but I don't think it changes the fact that it does in fact have the effect of disenfranchising minority voters at a disproportionate rate and that in many cases is the actual intent behind the laws, regardless of what reasons are actually being given.

You are just scraping the tip of the iceberg. You have to get to the heart of the matter. The war on drugs. Complaining about voter id laws is like complaining a mosquito bit you while someome is hacking you to death with a machete.

And I dont know what your prediction about Yamamoto's sleeping giant comment was to comment on it.

How many non white people do you need me to point out to you in the rally for you to admit thats wrong?

How is it disenfranchisement when it is free to obtain? Explain that to me. Or is that you calling black people lazy because they can't get a ride to the DMV and obtain a free government issue ID. Because that is the only thing I can think of and it is racist to me. Or is it because it is another talking point of how blacks are been taking advantage of because of our past history when most of it because of the Democrats paternalistic ways?

I can understand it if it cost a lot of money but you can have scammers come in and do their deeds if that is the case (selling your vote?)

Well Obama told them to be quiet whenever they approached him. I wouldn't blame the CBC, they said it was like walking eggshells around Uncle Tom Obama when dealing with black matters especially violence.

Nah, I'm not trying to suggest that black people are incapable of obtaining valid ID, just that right now it's statistically accurate that minorities are less likely to have valid ID, and until that changes, voter ID policies are going to impact these communities. My complaint is thus that pushing these laws are really primarily done to take advantage of this fact and affect the ability of these people to vote until such time that the statistics change.

The Japanese thought we were wussies and didn't have the guts (among other things) to fight back against them. Yamamoto went to college in the US and knew us well. When he heard that the Pearl Harbor attack happened BEFORE the official declaration of war he knew that would instantly unite us, and it did. The Repubs can make fun of the Dems for being wussies and generally speaking I agree with him, but if they ever piss them off to that "tipping point" so that they get up off their arses and actually start taking action, and I mean real political action, not just marching or burning ****e now and the Repubs will be in serious trouble... The question is where is that tipping point and how long until the Repubs reach it?

Well I disagree and I really really want us to have a civil war. Democrats will win the Presidency sometime in the next 8 years. Either Trump will lose reelection or the democrats will win the election after that.

If there was ever a strong violent resistance they would be labeled terrorists and criminals. The police are well trained and well equipped to handle kind of situation. There is already a strong us vs them mentality within police departments. If need be the military wouls be brought in. Tyranny is already here and its been here for a long time. We have accepted it.
