Bobby Cox

I am still upset that I got to be there in person for Bobby's last game.

That should have been a W.

One of the biggest testament's to Bobby's skillset was the testimony of guys like Bobby Bonilla and Gary Sheffield—players who had the rep of being bad clubhouse guys. Not only did either one of them ever cause a whit of trouble, and both spoke out about the positivity of the situation that Bobby created. Sheffield went out of his way to refer to him as "Mr. Cox" as a token of respect, when he was just "Bobby" to everyone else. He didn't just run an easy clubhouse—he respected the guys but still made it clear what was expected of them.
