At least 30 people were killed after suspected Boko Haram extremists attacked churches today near Chibok in Nigeria’s northeast Borno state where more than 200 schoolgirls were abducted, a vigilante group leader said.
The Islamist militants attacked several churches in the northeastern villages of Kwada and Kautikari in the Chibok district, Abba Aji Khalil, chairman of a vigilante group in Borno state, said in a phone interview today.
“At least 30 persons were killed when suspected Boko Haram members attacked churches in Chibok today,” Khalil said.
Nigerian security forces are struggling to contain a campaign of violence by Boko Haram, which is fighting to impose Islamic law on Africa’s most populous nation. At least 21 people died in a June 25 blast at a busy shopping mall in Abuja, the capital. An explosion at a bus park in the city killed at least 75 people on April 14, the same day the schoolgirls were kidnapped in Borno state.

Last week, Ibrahim’s brother, Al Samani Al Hadi Mohamed Abdullah, claimed that she was “kidnapped” after her release from a Khartoum prison. Abdullah told Sudan newspaper Al Intibaha that she should have been released to the family and not to her husband, Daniel Wani.
"They did not let us know that she was about to be freed," he told the newspaper. "It was a surprise for us."
He also made statements earlier last month that Ibrahim should be executed if she refused to return to the family’s faith of Islam. He maintained those statements in last week’s interview, saying that the court system failed the family by clearing his sister of all charges.
“Our family is not convinced by the decision of the court," he said. "The law has failed to maintain our rights, and now it is a matter of honor. Christians deface our honor, and we know how to take revenge for that."

What is your purpose for even including this? It makes no sense and no one said. You either have a severe misunderstanding of the points being made, or your reaching a whole lot. Which doesn't help you make a point, it makes you look silly.
