Dont sell Allard short. If he went to college he would have dominated and been a 21 year old high first round pick who could need 2+ years of development right now.



Dont mind trading him because we could need the 40 man roster space and he needs a lot more development time than we have to offer.

If he showed the stuff he has now in college there is no way he is a high first round pick.

This trade tells me that it is quite a seller's market for RP this year.

I think it speaks more to allard’s lack of value and the Braves lack of belief in him.

He was a high first round pick. And he’s not going to learn velocity. His low 90s fastball is never going to cut it

No this has been covered in great detail already and put to rest. He has a unique contract due to him being in Japan. He is a rental. Confirmed
