Hopefully that guy gets fired soon, but until then, all we can do is hope a motivated Cano produces for a few games. If Cano just pops a few HRs vs the Mets the acquisition is a solid win.

Have to imagine they're hoping for a two week Demeritte-like hot stretch from him if Snit works the platoons correctly. With the break that will get you to within a couple weeks of a potential Ozzie return.

And I buy some of the PTSD. But I do think there ain't enough mustard in the world to cover that hot dog. I remember my dad making similar comments about Willie Mays when I was just a little dogcatcher, so there's probably a little apple-tree thing going on.

I will say this. Cano may be terrible but he’s an upgrade over Gosselin and Ford so that’s something at least.
