I've been on Dodd for a couple months. He's been great since turning into a reliever. Hopefully AA figures out that all starters don't have to be starters... some become good relievers, and they're success rate is probably better than the waiver claims

I thought Riley's was the oddest contract extension. No arbitration to buy out and he's signed through age 35 at $22MM AAV. That's a below market AAV, but it will be curious to see how he ages. I will say this about Riley. He made adjustments to his game and really made himself into a very solid baseball player. When he was coming up, I thought he'd be a slightly better version of Mike Hessman but he's really been pretty good. But he's a big body guy and we'll have to see how he holds up going forward.
