It's 2017, the Braves are terrible, attendance/revenue is way lower than anticipated, and people are paying the price.
This is what happens when top execs don't produce as expected...they replace the guys directly under them as a way to show they are trying to fix the problems. Snit will most likely also be sacrificed as a scapegoat, as was intended from the day he was hired.
I realize many will insist on keeping their heads in the sand, but all signs point to many high profile seats being very hot. If the rebuild doesn't bear fruit at the MLB level next year, and they don't draw 3M+, I expect to see a complete house cleaning of the Braves FO.
This also means the Braves are almost certainly going to "go for it" this offseason, to the detriment of the long term sustainable success of the franchise, in a last ditch attempt to save everyone's jobs.
