The only other recent rumor I saw besides this one and our continued interest in Nunez was Heyman listing us as a possible landing spot for Melky Cabrera. I hope he's wrong about that as Melky is terrible on defense now, -20 DRS last season. My guess is this was just Heyman speculating as Melky doesn't fit AA's views on the importance of defense.

Yea, I don't see any reason to bring back bad memories by signing him. Keep in mind, the tweet by Heyman was only stating his possible landing spots and wasn't stating our interest. That's why I didn't share it here when I saw it yesterday.

There are very few players I've seen who wanted to be a Brave less than Melky. I'd start calling for AA's firing if he wasted a cent on Melky.

Reggie was a good guy who had a crummy first half of the season and then hit really well after the All Star Break. He’s never been on my list of Hated Braves.
