Braves release renderings of new ballpark.

It is very impressive. Not only the park, but, working it into the new plaza too.... and having the chop house overlooking the field in right, and the plaza both... I think this park is going to be special. Love it so far.

Also need a place to put up the new banners... statues for legends, and the retired # names like at the Ted.

Architecturally it's beautiful. The area in center and beyond is going to be inside the mountain slope, and the plaza will be leveled off at the top of centerfield. The stadium is essentially being built inside a bowl/crater... so if you're walking from the Plaza, you're actually going "down" into the stadium/field.

Looks like I'm in the minority, but it doesn't overly impress me. It's looks fine but nothing special setting it apart. Oh well it'll still be nice making my first trip to Atlanta for the opening.

It looks kind of bland because it's out in the suburbs almost.

It's nowhere near the downtown architecture...

The roof looks kinda funky but otherwise I think it works great. Looks like a fun atmosphere to take the family and go to a ballgame.

I am not big on the roof either.

I got a chance to go check out the Tigers at Comerica a few weeks back. Was quite impressed by their stadium.
