Experienced relievers have some value at the trade deadline. If we just hit on one of these relievers it's worth it.

Precisely. With where this team is now, it's a plus if we can continue to add any young talent. The management can say what they want, but the team isn't looking to win much this year. These signings could only help us further.

Only locks are Kimbrel, Outman, and Russell. Those three, and one of Kohn, Viz, etc fills out the pen.
