I was in 2014 when they flat quit on Fredi. Wasn't a fan of the Uptons or Heyward for that matter. Just didn't like Wren period. I am not a fair weather fan and call it like I see it.

Hmm, I think I can find about 100 posi-Brave quotes where they are as unconcerned about facts as a typical Trump supporter.

2. I like to think positive, so I usually see the best possible outcome when I watch my teams.
3. On the other hand, I am of the opinion that it doesn't matter if you win 65 games or 75 games. If you are going to be bad, you should maximize that. If you are going to drudge through a bad season, you should make it worth it with a #1 pick. So I guess I'm also negative.
4. I'm in the middle. I believed if everything went right we could even hit 80, but I figured we would realistically be around 70. I really wanted us to win 60, so we didn't have to go thru all of this and still only get the say #8 pick.
5. Bottom line: We were always a few overcheivers away from being decent, but that's a very fine line. We were also a few key injuries away from being horrid. The chances for the later were just as good if not better. I'm ok with Loney, because it really doesn't matter. We have no one in the system that could give you 50% of Freedie. It simply doesn't matter. I "am" glad they didn't try to give up assets to get some guy for two months that's slightly better than average. That would compound the problem.

You are right, I don't concern myself with pre-season predictions because they are facts. I remember 2013 where it was a fact the Nationals were going to do a season long victory lap around the NL East. If I know one thing about baseball it's that everything is completely predictable. Maybe next year I should go bet on your facts in Vegas. Think of all the money I am losing by not getting ok your facts.
