The die has been cast. I'm all Freddie now. My thoughts were never about disliking Freddie but about maximizing his value. They chose to keep him. His max value now is to keep him through the end of his contract since the Braves are in their window of contention.
Now, if the Braves go big to re-sign him and keep him a Braves through his year 38 or 40 seasons, I'll be right back telling everyone that "I told you so."
