Braves Target Million-Dollar International Signee?

The signing of Yenier Bello has not been that well received because of his age (29), but that age means his $400 K signing bonus does not count against the Braves' international cap. We hear now he has a spring training invite as part of his deal.

He is reporting to Orlando even as we speak.

Sounds like Bethancourt can be expendable (or maybe Gattis). BTW, he actually signed in March and has merely been waiting for his visa. The Braves may place him in Gwinnett if Bethancourt stays up for a while.
