Braves to allow full capacity on May 7

For anyone wondering, the announced attendance was 38K, 39K and 29K over the 3 game series with the Phillies. Wonder what type of financial advantage this gives us over teams who are still at much lower capacity.

Enough to sign Shane Greene.

I don't think it was pure coincidence that he was signed after seeing nearly 40,000 fans show up for the first full capacity game.

Also this should be a good time to point out that the Braves are 2nd in attendance per game at 19534 so far. Which will of course go up as we are now at full capacity. The era of Braves being on top of attendance is back baby!

It's a hopeful sign that some of the money that we would have hoped was available is actually there.

Two signings this past week plus full attendance.

You can see where they would have protected this winter against the chance that full attendance wouldn't happen.

I've been keeping a close eye on attendance. Braves are still #1 in the league with average attendance and total. This weekend series against the Marlins they drew well over 100K fans. Very encouraging signs.
