Braves to debut "refreshed" uniforms

The red script on the road navy works. The problem with the old navy for me was the blue on blue just didn't stand out enough. Love the return of the all-red top. I really wish they would just go back to home whites and road grey. If you must have alternates for both what I would really like to see them do is pay homage to a particular year in Atlanta Braves history with them. Example "66 one year, '74 the next, and '82 the next. The '74 tops are just awesome. I can't see where the feather offends anybody. The home '82 look has been used on MLB The Show the last few years and looks great as a modern uni. Even better than it did as an '80's pullover in my book.
 
THANK GOD... I hope that the old navy alternates are done for forever. I've hated a uniform so much. Its amazing what giving the lettering a little contrast can do for a uniform.

I don't love these uniforms and the font does look a little weird, but they look fine to me and as long as the old navys are thrown into the fiery chasm from whence they came, I'm a happy camper. I never understood why people liked those uniforms.

There is a part of me that would love to see us go back to the lighter colors and the lower case a logo in the early years of Atlanta. Those uniforms were legendary and I think they'd look great in a modern setting. Honestly though, if I could have my way I would make our cream alternates our main home jersey and just use the classic greys as our away jersey. Our creams are the 2nd best uniform in baseball in my opinion.
 
My thing is just making the alts mean something just not another revenue stream for souvenir sales plus nobody else wears throwbacks for a year at a time. We would trend setters in a new way and I guarantee it would catch on across baseball.
 
I’m willing to forgive the meh-ness of everything else for the fact that they’ve improved the gawdawful embarrassment of the navy blues.
