The Braves schedule goes like this...

16 straight games (currently 2 games into this stretch)
10 straight games
6 Straight games

The final 10 games include an off day and 7 games against the Phillies. Freeman needs to be in every one of those games if the Braves haven't clinched. No matter what anyone thinks, Freeman is not immune to the effects of fatigue.

He should be rested at least one game during the upcoming 14 consecutive games, preferably against a RHP that Duda is likely to handle well.

With the way Inciarte’s been hitting recently, I’d look to sit Markakis once or twice against LHP and sub Duvall (who could use some more PA to get off the schneid).

Agreed. Plus when Duvall gets hot he can get really hot with hitting homers. I hope we get to see that at some point here this year.
