Braves visit the Brewers.... to make their Octoberfest plans

Okay. I hadn’t heard anything since he went down and at the time they said he wasn’t supposed to do anything until June.
Lopez just started like a week ago they said so that would make sense about June. Jimenez is ahead of schedule. 80% on the treadmill would be pretty good already for the 1st of June. He could be ready sometime in July possibly.

I did forget he restructured.. so he might get some reps late next year and be a pen option for 2027.. just shoulder injuries are the death keel of a pitcher typically.
I’ve been told they expect him back this season, and they expect him to pitch in the pen. As for 2026, however, I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to stretch him out again.

Anything I say about Lopez was based on my negative Macy feelings about shoulder issues. I really hadn’t seen any news. So him doing long toss is good.

I also hope he and the Braves know his starting days should be over.

As I recall, part of the reason he signed with the Braves is that they were willing to give him a shot at starting. I am sure they are having the discussion, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he still wants to try.

I suspect if that is the case, they will at least see how it goes in ST.

If the Braves don’t start doing something on the field that makes them worth watching in person, the money people think is going to be there this offseason won’t.

It will bc then nexts years attendance would get worse to wouldn't it? I'm sure ownership was 100% involved in the plan to reset the tax and get ready to spend in the offseason.

We'll see. Braves are down a bit from last year but still 6th in the league.

Will the team get a revenue boost from the ASG weekend? Not sure how that works.

I don't see the team falling out of the top 10 in attendance. Acuna is a huge draw and the fans are going to file in no matter what.

Verdugo has had great success vs their starter, but I don't think Verdugo is the same guy. Whatever though, if we can't beat them with Verdugo 2nd, we done anyway. Maybe this gets Verdugo going

Snit gonna Snit and this season, we may as well ride the roller coaster. As long as RAJ is doing his thing, I'm good. Sell. Restock this barren farm and I'm good. I need some Coppolella type BS. Throw crap against the wall, stone throws, blind squirrel type shyt.
