Braves vs the Reds. Morton on the bump

I love the Braves but i’m ready for this season to be over. It should be criminal for the pitching to be this good and the offense screw it up every night. If i was Morton i’d chew some asses.

It is the inverse of last year. The pitching was not playoff-caliber. This year hitting has disappeared—curse of the Freditto.

I think the Braves have to miss the playoffs for twit to be fired/forced to retire. So I am not unhappy if they miss.

On that note. I don’t want twit to leave on his terms. I want his dumbass fired.

They are just going to spin it as Snit doing such a good job to even get them close to making the playoffs.

Backdate Merrifield and play nacho. I'm pretty sure he sucks, but we know Williams does. Bring up baldwyn and start him tonight. Desperate times call for desperate measures

It's been a frustrating year (understatement), but I think Snitker is going to hang it up regardless of whether the team makes the playoffs or not. He's not a good poker player even with a good hand and he's been dealt pretty much nothing this year. I don't worship Snitker and his decisions regarding the bullpen are puzzling (to say the least), but I think one of the reasons he doesn't manage like Cox (or even Gonzalez on his good days) is partially due to the changing nature of the game (universal DH) and the fact that Anthopoulos is a different type of general manager than Schuerholz (leaving out Coppolella, not because he doesn't count but because the team was clearly in rebuild mode when he was in the big chair). There just seems to be a mismatch in overall roster strategy and the tactics used to deploy the talent.
