Was hoping he could hang around awhile and pad his resume. Was on a HOF path til he left Atl. Even with the addition of his framing skills, he's a far cry from the HOF. But definitely the best Braves catcher of my liftetime.

It's 3B/cOF, not many great everyday catchers out there. Most teams platoon.

Freddie's not going anywhere. But I do believe if AA wants to replace Snit, the players that lobbied for him (Freddie & Neck) are no longer in a position to keep lobbying for Snit. Neck may not even be back, and Freddie won't have much room to complain after his performance this series.
