Assuming there is a roster opening with MLB placing Olivera on administrative leave, we have an opportunity to move to a better balanced bench by adding Reid Brignac. He would join KJ as as second left handed bat on the bench, and maybe make Fredi more willing to use a lefty pinch hitter for a situation like the one with Francoeur last night.

I suppose Bonifacio is an option, but he is a switch hitter who hits significantly better from the right side.

I really like Castro, but I don't have unrealistic expectations about his bat. Still, he's going to improve the defense whenever/wherever he spots in.
