Bryce Harper Megathread

Harper pissed off Teheran so he plunked him, and it was clearly on purpose. Boys will be boys, and we all love watching it. If you don't like it then go watch a dog show or something.

My guess is nothing happens tonight because I doubt any of Harper's teammates feel like defending him.

Im not so sure of that. In all the interview, his teammates have been supporting him. And Davey talked about it pregame. Something to the affect of (Harper) he's got a bad leg. How about Justin Upton? Last night after the game he talked about being handcuffed last night by the warning.

Wow. Davey really said that? First the "Harper is only 20 years old" BS, and now it's okay because Harper has a bad leg? The Nationals are a joke.

Since Harper likes running into walls so much, I'm surprised he didn't try to run into that 6'6 500lb wall Heyward and Freeman made in front of Teheran last night haha!

I would like to watch Gattis turn Harper into a 20 year old cocky pretzel.

No. No. I seriously doubt that Bobby would defend showing up the other team like that, but one thing he definitely would not do is call out the other team's player in the process. In that vein, it's not simply defending your player, it's instigating the situation even more. Bobby would never do that.
 
Were you insinuating Davey Lopez is a good manager? The whole Nats fanbase would disagree. Good managers are like unicorns.

That tweet should have never been sent out. This is the Atlanta Braves, a professional major league baseball organization. That is chiildish stuff. Entertaining for us and I loved it but it can't come from the an official organizational outlet.

I agree totally! Trash talk, snarky comments, etc. needs to be left to fans and sound bites, not an offical representation of the team.
