Bryse Wilson

I certainly did not see this one coming. I am intrigued by Wilson and how his stuff will play at ML level but figured this would come next season.

Really doubt that lineup lasts at all. Since Ender originally got moved from the top of the order, every time he goes back he struggles. Last time, the team struggled.
 
AA has shown that once a pitcher hits AAA he is a candidate to make a spot start. AAA seems to be serving as the extended 25 man roster with parts being swapped at will.
 
It's also very interesting to note the Braves dumped Bell despite having a 40 man spot already available.

Why are they keeping this spot open?
 
Seems like the plan is to get a lot of young arms on the 40-man, let them pitch before September, call them up to the pen in September and see what happens when it comes to building a potential playoff series roster.

I generally prefer to be more patient with service time, but I see why AA is doing it. Also kind of negative to waste 40-man spots for the offseason. But it makes you wonder if Kyle Wright is next to spot start this month.
