Duke got the best bracket as the worst #1 seed. Oh well.

Not a huge disparity between the brackets overall. Can't complain about Kentucky's draw. Not a cakewalk, but not unfair either.

Your boys got perfect matchups tho. Kansas and ND have no shot

Looking thru again. How the duck is Ohio State a 10? Utah a 5? Wichita state is a borderline top 10 and are somehow a 7? so Georgetown is matched up with a team playing at home then A top 10 team (s a 5 seed?)

Espn does a whole bracketology show only to pick the 4 number 1 seeds. Geez, thanks for the insight.

UCLA getting in is pretty ridiculous, no doubt.

Duke looks to have gotten the easiest region, but Iowa St will certainly give them a game in the Elite 8.

Final Four for me is Kentucky, Wisconsin, Duke, and Virginia with Kentucky the only team I'm really confident will make it.

Top 5 first round games:
1. Ohio St - VCU
2. Indiana - Wichita St
3. West Virginia - Buffalo
4. Iowa - Davidson
5. Georgetown - E Wash

Top 5 potential games:
1. Wisc - Arizona
2. Duke - Iowa St
3. Kentucky - Notre Dame
4. Duke - Kentucky
5. Wisc - Kentucky

Those of you who are Big Ten fans, need your opinion on something. There are some strong rumors that Tom Crean will leave Indiana after their season is over and will take the job at Alabama. That prospect doesn't excite me too much. Could he be a good hire for Alabama?

Not at all. But i guess compared to the teams in SEC, he may be ok.

He doesnt teach defense at all.

Him and Izzo are tight. He was a grad assistant under Jud and then an assistant under Izzo in the mid to late 90s if I recall. You can watch Indiana and see he models his teams after Izzo in one facet. Fast breaks and transition buckets. The comparisons pretty much end there though. Like giles said his defense has generally been non existent. Their philosophy this season was typically try and outscore the other team and rely heavily on three point shots. He's had pretty good guard play in his tenure in Bloomington. I don't think he's a very good recruiter either. He's missed out on so many in state kids who went elsewhere in the conference. He's a middle tier coach in this league, but at Alabama he'd probably be a top four coach in the conference behind Crooked Cal and Billy Donovan.

Crean sucks. He lucked into two elite shooting guards that carried him to all the success he had at Marquette.

I hope he stays at Indiana forever, personally. Little worried about the rumors that they may be able to get Billy Donovan.
