Yeah, I know. But, you don't read.

I dont know how Hoiberg would do at Kansas or a big school where he could get elite level recruits.

I do wonder if he'd leave for a better chance at better talent elsewhere.

You know he went to Iowa State, right?

This year, Kansas was pretty overrated talent wise.

Oubre was good, as was Ellis and Mason.

The rest was inconsistent.

Stop.....they have 5 pros on their team

2012 - 10th rated recruiting class - ISU not top 30
2013 - 2nd rated recruiting class - ISU 27th
2014 - 3rd rated recruiting class - ISU not top 30

Cliff Alexander was a five star recruit (yes, I know he was suspended late)
Wayne Seldon is a five star recruit
Francamp and Green are 4 star recruits

I do know that, he's called the Mayor.

Point still stands, btw, why do you think Utah will beat Dook, i havent seen Utah play much.

I think Dukes defense overall sucks and Utah has multiple big men to rotate onto Okafor. Duke essentially goes by if their 3 point shot is falling or not and Utah is one of the few teams that might be able to both have big guys to guard Okafor, but also knock down threes themselves. Obviously Duke is the favorite and should win, but I do think Utah has a better chance than most people think.

Alexander barely played for whatever reason before the suspension.

I like Selden but he was awful this year.

Greene is ok, Frankcamp doesnt even make their rotation.

You guys are nuts. In what world do you take Hoiberg over Bill Self?

He's the second-best recruiter in the game today.. period. He's won a million Big 12 titles in a row. He's won a title. He was in the National Title game THREE YEARS AGO. Yes, they've had some early round upsets..

Meanwhile, Hoiberg just lost to UAB. He's made the Sweet 16 once. He's 4-3 in the tournament. Hoiberg over Self is just asinine. I can't see any rational argument for that.

Im not a Self fan, but he's at WORST top 10, arguably top 5.

He's a great coach.

I do like Hoiberg but no way he's better than Self at all.

So Mississippi State has hired Ben Howland. Add him to a conference that has Calipari, Donovan, Anderson, and that snake Pearl as coaches in the SEC, Alabama really needs to get this right.

Again, it depends on what you want....if you're looking to dominate the regular season and stack conference titles I have no issue with Self, it helps being at Kansas with all the talent they can attract that ISU and other schools cant. If you're looking to make deep March runs every year, Self isn't in my top 15.

Bc Kansas recruits itself. A donkey would get great recruits. Put that talent on Hoibergs team and he would be more successful.

Put it better, I think Kansas would be more successful with Hoiberg at the helm than with Self. Im not sure what the difference recruiting would be, but Hoiberg would coach circles around Self.
