CBB Thread

Kentucky has a deep rotation. You know thats the reason and just don't think I realize that.

Do you think that Okafor has the right conditioning currently to play in the pro's?

How would Okafors conditioning look if he played 20 mins per game?

Hopefully we hear some about Duke.....though besides Okafor; who is gone? Jones, maybe? Allen has to stay. Winslow should be gone.

You cannot be serious on that last point, right?

Tyus is in the tough range, probably a late-rounder, in the 20's now.

Could improve his stock with another year but with Okafor, Cook and Winslow gone, who knows how he'll do as the main option, may try to cash in while the iron is hot.

I actually agree with holden.

I dont like/hate Cal as much as some, he's just taking advantage of the system in place, but.

If UK won the title, people would say how he's ruining CBB yet Dook just won the title with mostly freshman and Cook.

Bo Ryan called him out on it.

DSR back to Georgetown. Possible top15 team. Maybe real contenders depending on transfer situation.

Sounds like Kentucky is losing all 7 players. That blows.

Oh well. It's the Ulis and Briscoe show next year. Could be fun.

Is UK in extensively on Jaylen Brown?

A Ulis, Newman, Brown perimeter would be pretty nice.

If they had a mass exodus, a least they'd have a ton of schollys to hand out.

Yeah, Brown is a possibility, especially if everyone bolts.

Probably be ranked highly, take some inexplicable losses, drop to a 4-5 seed, then put together a run in March. In other words, a typical UK year when we aren't loaded.

This NBA GM says...

“To say that they’re first rounders, Cal knows better than to think that both those kids are first-rounders,” the GM told Adam Zagoria of zagsblog.com. “I mean, come on, no chance. I’ll bet a million dollars they’re both not drafted in the first round. I don’t care if they go and interview well and they’re good kids. I don’t see it happening. I think he wants them gone, too.”

Yeah, I'm sure he wants his starting backcourt with two Final Four's worth of experience and who have made big play after big play gone.

They have wanted to go since they got to campus. They were always leaving after this year. He is saying they're first-rounders because he wants them to go in the first round, not because he wants them to go.

Cal couldn't care less where his players are drafted. The only reason he may care is because it looks good on him for getting players into the NBA.

You cannot say it's the only reason with any kind of certainty. But hell yeah selfishness plays a role.
I'm sure Cal does know better, but he's just not going to say it. This isn't surprising.

JP going to the NBA, i love him, but unless it's assured he knows UNC is getting Ingram or Jaylen, this doesnt make any sense.

He's a borderline 2nd rounder right now.

To be fair the backcourt is going to be better without those 2.

And Tokito is gone. (Or at least testing the waters). Says he knows hes not a first rounder.

Sounds like there are going to be a few undrafted underclassman playing in Europe or D-League.

How will the back court be better? Again, Andrew played amazing down the stretch. He and Aaron were awesome for the last two months of the season, up until the last 6 minutes against Wisconsin.

Also, Booker is gone. Ulis/Booker would've been a fun back court to watch next year.. but now it's Ulis and some unproven freshmen.
