And Roy got as much as he could with this team as he could.

They overachieved to a degree.

Not a lot of 3-pt threats, 4 guys rotating at 3 spots on the perimeter, hell sometimes a big had to play the 3, not great FT shooting among other things.

It was one of his best coaching jobs, you dont beat the preseason top 4 teams in CBB and not be able to coach but the haters gonna hate.

Fun team, tough loss, but credit to ISU, sometimes you just get beat.

Our past 2 classes have been about the same as those two.

So thats a dumb argument.

Also, you better pray Louisville wins, or you have no argument on Pitino > Cal.

He would be 8-1 at UK vs Louisville if they win.

What are you talking about? Kentucky has the top recruiting class in the nation....Cal is a 100 times better recruiter than Rick, he SHOULD beat him. You never make any sense.

But since you brought it up.....who has more rings, Cal or Pitino?

He did, but to your point.

The team he built was FF-type.

Not his fault PJ was an idiot, who would of made a massive impact this season. Or he saw Reggie going pro. Having those two would of gone a long way or at least having PJ starting next to Marcus.

Getting 2 possessions when the score is tied and you have the ball would go a long way toward winning as well.

Of course, should of gone for a 2 for 1 so they would of had a shot at the win/tie.

Hindsight is always 20-20 though.

LOL if that's true....Marquette is a horrible job. Haven't seen anyone major say it though

When does the Carolina program burn in flames with what has gone on at that institution over the past 2 decades. The NCAA can't turn a blind eye at this mess much longer can they?

If your a Carolina fan or alum how on earth can you feel proud supporting such a corrupt institution.

But the holier than all crowd and "the Carolina way" trumps all I guess.

They'll continue to get all the favoritism in the ACC as long as Swofford is in charge and probably the NCAAs punishment for such a scumbag cheating lack of institutional control program will be nothing.

In fact the NCAA is so mad at UNC that instead of giving Carolina the death penalty and revoking banners, they'll just leave Larry Brown and SMU out of the tournament.

Of course the Carolina faithful will continue to either deny the accusations or spin it in a matter that makes Roy and Dean saints.

You can't make this stuff up. I really wanna enroll in their engineering program, you know, because I like choo choo trains!
