I think Rove is right, you have to overturn the 2nd amendment. I think that would be a horrible precedent. It's a lazy solution and an incredibly unlikely solution. I think Obama's mistake was that he gave into extremism. He went after guns that never deserved to be banned. He didn't have his eye on the mental health issues that we have in this country. He could have found his gun solution if he just didn't give into his idea of banning things. I personally believe Obama believes in banning guns, so I think he went with his true beliefs, but I think he hit this at the wrong angle.

The second thing you do is, if you buy a gun, you have to register the gun — just like you have to register your car, alright. Now, people say ‘Oh, slippery slope, they’re gonna come–. Hey, this makes it easier for the government to take a thug who has a gun that’s not registered and put him in jail for 10 years.”

Only thing you can do since the guns are already on the streets and no laws will prevent thugs from getting guns illegally

By the way Garmel, you really don't own a gun at all? What the f*ck kind of Texan are you??? I went to Fort Worth today to see my granddaughter, who is about a month shy of being 3 years old take part in a fashion show. My favorite saying on this matter is that (and this is true) I have more guns than John Wayne. Of course I live in McCurtain Country Oklahoma, aka the Wild Wild West.

Oh man that is bad. I've been living in Oklahoma for about 5 years now and have heard a lot of stories. I imagine most are true.
