This isn't the movies. I mean taking over the White House and having shootouts with the Prez and Channing Tatum could also theoretically happen I guess. But it in a likelihood it won't.

Maybe you should read up on effective Guerrilla Tactics. I'm no expert, just listing a potential scenario where being over armed could create an issue as mass confusion and false fire can create an issue.
