Chip Caray to St Louis Broadcasts

I’m not sure how much of an option Tom Hart is, considering he’s got a good gig at ESPN/SEC Network. But who knows. I also wonder how much of a contract Bally Sports will pay to an announcer, considering the financial trouble they’re in.

Considering Chip just moved from Bally Southeast to Bally Midwest to do Cardinals games, I'm not sure it's all about that.
 
I had no idea Harry did Cards games before he did Cubs games. It must be weird moving to the rival, especially when you have to at least pretend to be a homer every day.

Stupid people on Facebook like stupid announcers because it makes them feel like it's ok to be stupid. That appeal applies to many places, as evidenced by the orange cult.

Give me someone, anyone, who actually enjoys the modern game and can explain it to the simpletons in the South who still think bunting and "putting the ball in play" is good baseball.

I don't know why you are so malicious toward folks who enjoy baseball just for the fun of it. It may make them look stupid but your comments make you look awfully small as a person.

If he stays in the booth into his 70s like his Pops, I would say he may be back. Remember he started with EJ Sr. on the original SportsSouth before moving on to Seattle and Big Fox.

Tom Hart remains a top finalist to replace Chip Caray in the Braves' television booth. Sounds like Ben Ingram will remain in his preferred role on the radio side. Ben is as good as it gets on radio.
 
There’s something about listening to a baseball game on the radio. Brings back memories for sure.
