Chris Johnson

You guys are ridiculous. Dude is off to a slow start, but he will post around an .800 OPS with a .280+ average year after year. And this team needs fire and fight.

Isnt his career OPS .754? Wasnt his OPS low .800s despite unsustainable BABIP last year?

Dont u follow team?

The TP one was when he struck out, threw the helmet at the GROUND and it accidently hit TP.

He didnt throw the helmet directly at TP, so you are wrong.

Nothing wrong with CJ, teams need players like him, guys who arent pussies.

Laird said he talked to CJ last night after Laird & Fredi got hit by pieces of a bat CJ shattered. Said they're fine, putting it behind them.

So Heyward is a pussy bc he doesnt act like jackass when he gets out?

Guys have to be together for a long season and when tirades start affecting other players, something needs to be done.

Its not like Ortiz, who is good and teams will overlook. And in not sure he ever hit a teammate is ha tirades.

Thats not the point, all im saying is you need those fiery type of players rather than a team that is laid back all the time.

Ortiz isnt a good example b/c he's won 3 WS with Boston.

What did he do?

Got pissed at himself after striking out...Rather than just casually go back to the duggout, put his things away, grab a cup of powerade, sit down, grab a pack of seeeds, and turn over to Heyward and say "Man, what a nice pitch by Lyles, I respect him and tip my cap to him"...he got pissed and decided to crack his bat in the tunnel...oh how dare he show some emotion of being fckn human or competitive...

So I told CJ "Hey, that was the best swing you've had all year, amirite?"

or

"CJ has had some pretty good swings this year—mood swings."

And shards of the bat hit Fredi and laird.

Much ado about nothing. He has a lot of passion for the game and it gets away from him at times. Its Fredi's job to keep him in line, and he's doing so. If the Braves thought it was a serious problem that would affect the team, they wouldn't have bought out his arby yrs.

inclinded to agree. CJ gets mad at himself, not his teammates. This is not a big deal. Bench him when he screws up.

Not to say that we should have signed him to a mulit year deal, he isn't that good.

So kudos to Fredi, stinky farts directed at Wren.

Remember when we used to talk about there being no passion? We wanted somebody to get mad?

I used to LOL off that. Especially when we lost to the Astros and it was because they were "more intens"

You know what's funny. every one of the Johnson defenders would be calling him an a**hole if he didn't have a tomahawk across his chest. Its ok to be a fan of a team and not like every player.
