clvclv has made the journey beyond the Field of Dreams.

That’s totally my fault…I had every intention of posting about it when I heard the news but was dealing with the loss of my mother around the same time and it just completely slipped my mind plus I have just recently started lurking again since the season is picking up…

We weren’t close friends but more so acquaintances , I have friends that knew him more especially those that play a lot of golf because he lived next to the golf course for years…I do remember swinging by his place once to go to a Super Bowl party years ago that some friends were at. I’m sure he’d be thrilled at all the kind words.

Thanks for this post. Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. That's always an emotional slog that takes a lot of time to process. Hope you are making your way through it.

No blame-

I meant we didn’t really notice soon enough

Sometimes people take hiatuses from here.

Then reappear out of nowhere.

Also during the offseason everyone just kind of disappears until there's some hot rumor or deal.

But I will say, thinking back on like the Murphy trade I do remember not seeing any clvclv takes.

Read the thread title, and didnt click on it til now. Damn, thats sad, way too young. RIP easy clv.

Sad to hear. I dont recall every having a cross word with him so he must have been a smart fella. If I am not mistaken the Braves were technically still the defending champions at the time of his death because the World Series the next year had not been finished yet. I hope he was atleast healthy enough to see that run.

Coming out of my cave to recognize the dude. He was a good guy and too young to pass. He is the literal reason why I stopped actually posting here. Essentially, there is a certain poster that would consistently bully clv. I took it upon myself to only ever post to troll that certain person from here on out. The bullying stopped (for the most part) and I hope I had a slight influence on that by being the much needed distraction for this certain poster. Clv always spoke from the heart and that’s all that matters. RIP and I will continue to troll you know who forever for you brotha.

Fun poster, if idiosyncratic. Always started off with some head-scratchingly scorching takes, but could always be talked down to reason real quick. He was just an excitable character—a bemusing nutjob of a hardcore fan, which is an energy that ultimately makes a community more enjoyable. Sad news, for sure.
