Apparently chipper endorsed hyers staying on. And will also be around the team more this year. Bowman said Hyers signed a two year deal where usually coaches on the staff go year to year.

DOB says he’s either going to be the Eddie Perez type generic “major league coach” or the 3rd base coach… which is weird because one of those other coaches were supposed to be the 3rd base coach

Shanks tweeted that Watkins and Buxton are close. He threw Buxton’s BP in the derby years ago and Buxton talked about how close they were. Wonder if that makes him reconsider that no trade clause?

In all seriousness, AA has demonstrated before (Sale) he'll stay on it trying to acquire a guy so this would be an interesting way to get Buxton to waive the no-trade.
