Depending on what site you read, about 6 different QBs have 1st round grades. I highly doubt that 6 QBs will drafted in round 1. I personally think Nix and McCarthy will be 2nd round guys.

Hot take... I think Denver trades out of their first pick. Probably with Dallas, who needs OL help but likely will be picking in a spot where all the quality OTs are gone. And then Denver takes Nix or McCarthy late in the first.

If McCarthy sees that he may be a 2nd-round pick, I think he comes back to Michigan. My order is: Maye, Williams, Daniels, McCarthy, Penix,Jr., and Nix. I think they all have the potential to be starters at some point down the road.

UW has not hit the throws they needed to.

Also don’t love that Penix throws moving off his back foot so much. Moving back.

Alabama has to announce soon, so they don’t lose a lot of players. Dan Lannings buyouts total about $50 million from Oregon

Potentially more than 50 million. Buyout is 20 million, but Nike is giving him 30 million worth of Nike stock over the length of the contract he signed 2 years ago. It's hard to place a value on that one, especially given Oregon would certainly offer an extension to keep him there.

It's gonna be Lane Kiffin though right? And he'll convince recruits to change to Bama right?

The reports I have heard from Bama insiders (not just recently, but when he left as well) is that Bama will never hire Kiffin, at least as long as the current brass is still there. Apparently that bridge was not just burned, it was nuked.

Deboer from Washington would not be a good fit, imo. But I really don't know who else you bring in. Bama is currently a victim of their own success. No one wants to follow in the footsteps of the GOAT, because the expectations are insane. They would almost be better off signing some hotshot coordinator like Warren Ruggiero or Garrett Riley, hungry to make their own name, rather a coach like Deboer who would be chasing the money.

I imagine whoever they hire won't be around at the start of year 4. The first time he loses 3 games and/or loses to Auburn, Bama fans will be calling for his head.

Yeah and Petrino would never set foot back at Arkansas.

If anything in CFB is shown, is winning above all else. Just look at Auburns trashy asses.

OC is a bit different than HC though. I can't imagine Arky would ever let him be HC again. Just like OM would never hire Hugh as their HC again.
